CESI is a world-wide recognised independent "third party"
testing Organisation which issues Certificates (TC) of type, design, special and
functional tests accepted all around the world as proof of the validity of the design of a product. Following the STL criteria, five basic TCs may be issued: TC of complete type test. This Certificate provides the verification of all rated characteristics of the equipment as assigned by the Manufacturer, by means of the performance of all type tests specified by the relevant Standards. TC of dielectric performances. This Certificate provides the verification of all dielectric ratings by means of the performance of the appropriate type tests specified by the relevant Standards. TC of temperature rise performance. This Certificate provides the verification of the temperature-rise limits, together with measurement of the main circuit resistance, by means of the performance of the appropriate type tests specified by the relevant Standards. TC of short circuit/making and breaking performance. This Certificate provides the verification of the rated characteristics with respect to short circuit and/or making and breaking performance, by means of the performance of the appropriate type tests specified by the relevant Standards. TC of switching performance. This Certificate provides the verification of the switching ratings (e.g. capacitive current) by means of the performance of the appropriate type tests specified by the relevant Standards. The TC list of this database covers a period starting from 2000 and it is continuously updated. To facilitate its research, the TCs may be sorted by apparatus, by Manufacturer or by Standard. |
